Rainbow and Endeavour competing during the 1934 America's Cup races. The Rainbow and Endeavour I attempting a 360 degree turn during the prestart maneuvers of the America's Cup Race. The Endeavour was owned by T.O.M Sopwith and designed by Charles Nicholson. She was launched for the first time in 1934. Although Endeavour won the first two races, Rainbow won the final three and became a successful defender of the Cup. From the Edwin Levick Collection
