DESCRIPTION SITE :

The start of a race between Weetamoe and Ranger prior to the 1937 America's Cup as seen from the race committee. The view from their vessel is one of the best as they not only see the start, but are normally the first to see the yachts return. Fortunately, Ranger was a successful defender of the Cup during the 1937 races. From the Edwin Levick Collection.
