REF : 0 EDITION : 1920 DATE : 22 May 1920 COURSE : 0 DESCRIPTION SITE : In her first trial race, Resolute lost her hollow mast ten feet above the deck. Resolute was launched April 25, 1914 and was the last of the six successful defenders designed by Nathanael Greene Herreshoff. It was the smallest of all the boats built for the 1914 America's Cup.
