A beautifully presented hand colored lithograph fully titled “Sloop Yachts Mischief & Atalanta in The Race for the “The America Cup” at New York, Nov 9 & 10, 1881,” and reads “Printed in oil colors by Currier & Ives 115 Nassau St, NY” below the image lower left, with a description of the Mischief & its winning times below it, “Copyright 1882 by Currier & Ives, New York” lower center, and “CR Parsons, DEL” lower right (engraver), with the description of the Atalanta and its winning times below that. The lithograph is nicely framed under glass in a molded wooden frame with complimenting stained finish. Very good overall condition, with minimal foxing, fade, and few border spotting imperfections. Not examined out of frame.
