Sir Thomas Lipton a légué sa collection de photographies, coupures de journaux et souvenirs à la Bibliothèque Mitchell. En 1999, la collection montrait des signes de dégradation et Unilever, qui possèdent désormais la marque Lipton, a financé les coûts de conservation et de numérisation.
